This entry is dedicated to a girl named Berlyn Aw. She's 19 this year and is currently studying in Ngee Ann Poly. She was first introduced to me by her cousin Jean Aw, on 11th Jun 2009 at The Illuma's CoffeeBean.
She's the very first person, after so many years, who told me her childhood dream was to be an astronaut. The same dream that I had when I was a child. That's where our conversation started.
Berlyn is a very sweet and lovely girl. She's friendly, straight forward, "loud", funny, sometimes comical, sometimes blur, sometimes clumsy, cute (Yeah, I know you don't like it but I seriously can't find a better word) and someone who is not afraid to tell her true feelings (Hope it stays that way).
You must be thinking right now that why am I blogging about this Berlyn for no apparent reasons? Well, the reason is simple. If you had read my previous post, W.R.T. that SOMEONE, whose photo is good enough to cheer me up when I was down. She's that SOMEONE.
We have been officially together for a few days already; ever since she stopped confusing the people around her and herself, and made the pleasantly surprising confession. We met each other for the past few days and each day, my feelings for her grew exponentially.
It had been quite a while since I had this long lost feeling. She could be the key that I had been searching for all these while. However, things had just started and it is definitely still too early to judge. For what happens in the future I can't tell, but at the very least, this is what I want right now and I want more because it seems that I can never have enough. Anyway, the future is ours to build and let's waste no time.
I'm glad and grateful to have known this girl. For that, I thank you, Jean.
PS: Hi Rachel, if you are reading this, I hope you can move on. It pains me AS A FRIEND, to see you circling on the same spot. What is over, we let it be. At most keep it as memories. What you are doing now isn't worth it. There's so much more waiting for you to see. Please heed my advise and continue your journey in life.
